Just because you’ve put away your beach towel and flip flops doesn’t mean the fun is over. In fact, you’re going to hear the good times rolling, loud and clear, all autumn long. That’s because kindie rock concerts are kicking into high gear — and many of them are free! Here’s what you need to check out this month and beyond.

Little Miss Ann & Mr. Dave
Old Town School of Folk Music’s wildly popular Wiggleworms music and movement classes have a huge following — and these two have taught them for almost a decade. So, chances are, they are familiar faces. They’re joining up for a special “double-hitter” kids concert. Mr. Dave and his band have an organic, connectable approach to music and impeccable harmonies. This is a CD release concert for Mr. Dave’s second kids’ album “Come On In.” Little Miss Ann has just released her fourth album, “Follow Me,” and recently played at the Lollapalooza kids’ stage. Her interactive concerts have an upbeat yet down-to-earth feel with strong messages that empower young people.
